ABOUT ME

Cassandra Croucher is a performing artist and lover of all that
glitters. A darling of Brisbane's stages, she has performed her work as a cabaret artist in two solo shows and worked as an entertainer at Brisbane creative hot spots including The Press Club, The Globe, Judith Wright Centre, and Metro Arts

An accomplished musician, Cassandra
studied at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music, graduating with a Bachelor of Music (performance) and Bachelor of Education. She has continued her train as a performing artist from some of the industry's best including Queenie van der Zandt, Tim Fergusson, Ira Seidenstein and Ellizabeth Dawson Smith-Smith (Miss Friby)

Cassandra is the head of Music curriculum at a Brisbane high school and teaches
voice for stage at the Bombshell Burlesque Academy. She often appears as alter-ego
Cece Shabam to emcee popular shows such as Vanguard Burlesque and The Bombshells Ball along with RAW Brisbane and the Brisbane Festival.
In 2016, Cassandra opened her self-devised one woman cabaret Retail Therapy at the
Anywhere and Wonderland festivals to sold out audiences and rave reviews.
